This August, I’ll once again be at FanExpo, Toronto’s monster comic/sci-fi/horror/video game/everything convention at the Metro Convention Centre (255 Front Street West). Why, everyone from Stan Lee to Nichelle ‘Uhura’ Nichols to Chumlee from Pawn Stars will be there!
On Friday, August 23, I’ll be on a horror panel entitled ‘Teen Screams,’ in which I’ll talk with Max Turner (The Night Runner), Alisse Lee Goldenberg (Bath Salts: A Zombie Novel) and Monica S. Kuebler (Bleeder) about the growing appeal of teen and young adult monster stories. Can young adult horror really push boundaries? Moderator Claire Hornsnell aims to find out.
The panel starts at 12:15 p.m. (come by during lunch!) in Room 703. After the panel, I’ll be signing at the ECW Booth (Booth # 842) at 1:30 p.m.
