I’ve been invited to be part of the Ottawa Writers’ Festival this fall, so I’ll be doing a whirlwind tour of three of four schools in the Ottawa Festival, reading from The Dead Kid Detective Agency and talking to students about writing. Should be fun. Or terrifying. I’m supposed to talk in front of 350 students at one school. Can’t say I’m a fan of those odds. But I will persevere, bring my best jokes about cafeteria food.
