The next Warriors?
Yes, faithful friends: The Dead Kid Detective Agency is in (some) bookstores now. It’s a bit terrifying how real it all is. The photo you see to the right was taken in a Toronto-area Chapters (according to them the book is ‘hot’!) and I have personally gone to Type on Queen Street West and signed copies of the book. I assume it will spread outward to bookstores across the continent in the coming weeks, like some contagion. The Dead Kid Detective Agency will have slightly less adverse effects on the populace. I should probably finish that trailer for the novel, considering it’s already hitting bookstores.
But if you’re in Toronto and want to buy the book and get it signed in person, you have a couple opportunities coming up, including The Word On The Street (September 25) and the book’s official launch on September 29. And if you live in Ottawa or Windsor, I’ll be visiting later this fall. More cities to come!
